We didn't want to build another shapewear brand.
Most shapewear is designed to be forgotten the moment you get home and rip it off. We wanted to build the opposite — something you'd actually reach for, on purpose, because it feels good, not because you're bracing for an event.
That's where the name comes from. Not a trend. Not a seasonal drop. Worn forever.
What we're actually trying to do
[Founder name / "We"] started taveroforever after [one real sentence about the problem that sparked this — e.g. "one too many nights spent peeling off shapewear that dug in more than it helped"]. The shapewear aisle was full of two options: painful compression that "worked," or comfortable pieces that did nothing. We didn't think that should be a trade-off.
So we built pieces around one rule: if it isn't comfortable enough to forget you're wearing it, it doesn't ship. Every panel, seam, and closure gets tested against that before it becomes a product.
How we think about quality
- Built to last, not to sell you a replacement in 3 months. Compression fabric that holds its shape wash after wash.
- No unnecessary drops. A tight, considered lineup of essentials instead of a new "collection" every two weeks.
- Fit over hype. We'd rather get the size guide right than run another sale.
Where we're headed
We're a small, growing team [based in / operating out of — add real detail]. Every piece of feedback — good, bad, "this rolled down after an hour" — goes straight into what we build next. This is still early days for taveroforever, and we're building it in public, one honest review at a time.
